Carnegie Museum/Powdermill Protest

Tell the Carnegie's Director, Board, and supporters that gas leases, drilling rights, and pipeline rights should NOT be granted at the Carnegie's Powdermill Nature Reserve for ANY price. There are no "best deals" (the Carnegie's words) available that can protect this 2200 acre pristine ecological research station from the inevitable destruction that will come if the Carnegie agrees, along with surrounding landowners, to allow drilling near Powdermill.

The Powdermill has a well-known reputation for ecological preservation and has been one of the primary stewards of our natural lands. It has been in existence for over 50 years and Powdermill Run (the stream through it) is touted as one of the "very few unpolluted streams available for ongoing aquatic research".

Let's keep it that way. Say NO to leases at Powdermill. Join us.

Also: Consider sending this letter to the Director of the Museum.
