East PGH Community Mtg: A Future without Fracking

Event-Date:
Tuesday, September 10, 2019 - 6:30pm

Family friendly, all are welcome!

Eat pizza and get caught up on the proposed Merrion Oil and Gas plan for Edgar Thompson Mill!

U.S. Steel is working with Merrion Oil and Gas, an inexperienced drilling company from New Mexico, to construct a fracking well at the Edgar Thomson Mill. Our community is already suffering from high asthma rates and other health concerns. This fracking well will only create more health and air quality issues.

The people of East Pittsburgh and Borough Council have the power to protect our community from the harms of oil and gas development.

Come out to Deena’s Dishes to eat pizza and find out how fracking could impact you. Explore the community-driven strategies that can protect East Pittsburgh from the impacts of oil and gas development. Hosted by North Braddock Residents for our Future, One PA, and the Food and Water Watch.
