The Allegheny County Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America hosts a special presentation on Impacts of Fossil Fuel Development and Use on Human Health, Wildlife and the Environment, and What We Can Do to Reverse Course. The event is sponsored by the Izaak Walton League, the Climate Reality Project, and the SWPA Environmental Health Project.

  • Impacts of Climate Change on fish, wildlife and our natural habitat

    Larry Schweiger (President, PennFuture, award-winning author of Last Chance, and past president of the National Wildlife Federation and of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy)

  • Features of the proposed Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act and their potential impacts on gas and plastics industries in Western Pennsylvania

    Perry Recker (Member Citizens' Climate Lobby, Climate Reality Leadership Corps, ILWA, retired college librarian and long-time worldview educator)
