Monroeville Oil & Gas Ordinance - Information Session

Event-Date:
Monday, June 3, 2019 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

While Monroeville currently does not have any unconventional natural gas drilling (or fracking) within its borders, well pads and proposed well pads in neighboring communities indicate that we may need to be prepared for potential development in the coming years. Currently, Monroeville does not have a comprehensive oil & gas ordinance that will govern light, sound, and other potentially harmful effects from any potential well pads in the community.

Come out to this informational event to learn about what an oil & gas ordinance would mean for our community, how we can go about advocating for an ordinance to our local officials, and how residents can be prepared for potential oil & gas development in our neighborhoods. Proactively addressing this issue is the best way to ensure that our community remains safe and healthy for years to come.
