Mountain Watershed Association has appealed the Department of Environmental Protection's permit for the Rustic Ridge #1 Deep Coal Mine in Donegal and Saltlick Townships.

Our hearing for the appeal begins before Judge Bernard A. Labuskes, Jr. at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Pittsburgh offices of the Environmental Hearing Board, Second Floor, Hearing Room 2014, Piatt Place, 301 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Currently, the full length of the hearing is scheduled to take place January 29-Feb 1; Feb 6-Feb 9; Feb 26-27.

On the first day of the hearing, January 29th 2018, Mountain Watershed Association will hold a press Conference and rally at 12:30 PM in front of the Environmental Hearing Board Office. Attend the rally to hear from local community members who would be impacted by Rustic Ridge #1.
